Why choose me?

I know how important it is to feel comfortable with the person you’re trusting to help you and your dog.

My approach is rooted in understanding behaviour, recognising the emotions behind it and finding practical ways to support both you and your dog.

In this video, I talk a little more about how I work, what matters to me and what you can expect when we work together.

A little bit about me

Hi, I’m Michelle!

My journey into dog behaviour work started much closer to home than I ever expected.

Living with Tig and navigating her behavioural difficulties gave me a very personal understanding of just how challenging life can become when your dog is struggling.

In this video, I share a little more about my journey, how Pups, Mutts and Pedigrees came to be, and why helping other dogs and their owners means so much to me.

Client story

Beautiful Betsy

One of the big things we looked at was her mouthiness. Betsy spends a lot of her time up on her back legs, pushing, jumping—and then the grabbing and mouthing really starts to creep in.

So we're not just looking at the mouth, we're looking at what's happening before she gets there, and how quickly those arousal levels start scaling up.

Lots of work around outlets, engagement, settling and helping her learn to come back down again.

We're basically trying to give that dimmer switch a few more settings.

Sponsor of Yellow Dog UK

Yellow dog  support that it is imperative to socialise dogs for their wellbeing and development but also recognise that there are times and circumstances when a dog needs space. We hope that the campaign will encourage dog owners to recall their dogs when they see a dog wearing a yellow ribbon or bandana/vest, giving that dog and its owner time to move out of your way and to get him used to people and animals.

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT MY DOGS

Both Tsar and Tig came into my life from overseas, bringing very different backgrounds, personalities and needs.

Tsar, my Tibetan Mastiff who has now sadly passed away, also went through a changing health journey which eventually included becoming deaf.

Tig, my Romanian rescue, has brought a very different set of challenges again.

Living alongside them both has given me another layer of personal understanding to bring to my work as a behaviourist, particularly around how a dog’s history, health, senses and individual experience can shape the way they respond to the world around them.

Part 04 • The final chapter

In loving memory of Tsar

A very sad update on Tsar, my soul dog.

She passed away on 19th January 2026, with me by her side.

Her story doesn’t end here.
It lives on in everything she taught me.

I was blessed to have her in my life.

Rest easy, my girl x
